Age 3 years, died Monday, February 11, 2002 in Lansing. Zane was born November 12, 1998 in Lansing. His beautiful smile and winning personality will be missed by his loving parents, Todd and Lynette (Henderson) Gardner and his brother, Wyatt (5). Also surviving are his grandparents, Larry and Lorene Henderson, Wilmena "Billie" Gardner, all of Eaton Rapids; great grandparents, Delbert and Birdie Payne, Doug and Buffy Henderson, Millie B. Sumner all of Eaton Rapids, Eve "Bama" Lyons of Lansing, Leona Gardner of Shelby Twp., Opal Righter of MO; 2 uncles and 5 aunts; and several cousins. Zane was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ray Gardner, Jr. and Herbert Riemann. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2002, 1:00 at the Charlotte Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1516 S. Cochran Road with Pastor David Kobliska officiating. Interment will follow at Munger Cemetery, Eaton Rapids. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Shelly-Odell Funeral Home, 518 S. Main, Eaton Rapids. Those desiring may make contributions to the Fetal Diagnostic and Therapy at Vanderbilt or March of Dimes in memory of Zane A. Gardner.
