Todd A. Gardner's
 Personal Home Page

I am so glad you are checking out my home page. Lynette and I are proud to announce arrival of our 2nd child, Zane. Zane was born November 12, 1998, almost 8 weeks early. He is doing GREAT! Click on his name above for a more detailed update, and for some pictures.  Our first born son, Wyatt was born August 17, 1996.  He has been our absolute pride and joy. He has grown so much over the past few years. He was nervous at first about his new brother, but warmed up very quickly.

I work for The Iserv Company, Inc., a full service Internet Service Provider serving Western-Lower Michigan.  I am the Business Development Manager, and have helped create new service offerings, like e-commerce, DSL, cable modem service, co-location, and more.  My office is in Grand Rapids, but I am able to work in an office in my home, a few days each week.

If you would like to e-mail me, use the link at the bottom of this page.  I would love to hear from you.  Or if you prefer immediate communications, try the Instant Messenger at the bottom of the page.

Lynette and I are building a new home in Eaton Rapids, just 15 miles south of Lansing.  We hope to complete construction and move in approx March 1, 2000.  We moved to Eaton Rapids, on Sept 13, 1998, so we could be close our families.  The move was largely for family reasons, however Lansing is much more centrally located, making my work easier for travel all over the state.

Spirit: I am glad to be a Seventh-day-Adventist. All those years of Bible classes, taught me to believe firmly in the words found in the Bible. I believe in the Seventh-day Sabbath, that the dead know nothing until the resurrection, and that Hell is not eternal. I believe in baptism by immersion at an age when the child can understand.  Smoking, alcohol, and drugs cloud our minds from pure thoughts, and clog our bodies, and I believe that Jesus will return soon, to claim his people, and that when he does, every eye will see him.

Mind: My mother felt strongly about her children getting a quality, Christ-centered education. Through my entire childhood, my mom worked to pay for church school for her four kids. I attended private Christian schools all but one and a half years ( when mom was too sick to drive us the one hour each way). When I was old enough for high-school, I attended Adelphian Academy, in Holly, Michigan. Adelphian was a boarding school, with approx 200 students in attendance. It was a work/study arrangement, so developing a healthy work ethic was essential. I was an active leader in a temperance club all through high-school.  My senior year, I was voted class president. In keeping with the tradition of Christian education, I applied, and was accepted to Andrews University, in Berrien Springs, MI. I worked my way through college, and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication, with a second major in Business Administration. I studied year towards my Masters on Business Administration, but was side tracked by an offer of a great full-time position as Telecommunications Manager of the University. I think often of completing that degree, and some day I shall.  Today, my focus is appropriately on my family.  Moderate Republican. Outgoing, optimistic, and generally very happy.

Body: I am a lacto-ova vegetarian who has never smoked, or drank any type of alcohol. In high-school, I was president of the temperance club my first three years. I eat healthy, try to remember to take my vitamins, and drink 6-8 glasses a day of water. My desk job has softened me up, and I would feel better about myself, if I started exercising regularly, and lost 15-20 lbs.
